Cross-Team Collaboration Drives Technological Matrix Upgrade

 On the morning of July 2, 2025, the Information Technology Development Office (ITDO) of Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) successfully held the 2025 Mid-Year Work Summary Meeting and Information Security Awareness Training Session in Conference Room N416. The meeting aimed to comprehensively review the achievements of the first half of the year, deploy key tasks for the second half, and strengthen the team's awareness of information security. At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Tong, Ka Lok, Vice President of MUST and Director of ITDO, on behalf of the university, acknowledged the team's accomplishments over the past six months. He emphasized that as the core technical support unit of the university, ITDO is responsible for critical missions such as the construction of the WeMust Smart Campus, the operation and maintenance of network infrastructure, and equipment support. Vice President Tang particularly noted that ITDO, distinct from external service departments, serves as a vital foundation for the efficient functioning of the university's digital ecosystem. He encouraged the team to uphold an innovative spirit, continuously optimize campus network services and smart campus platform development, and support the university's future growth by providing robust technical backing for faculty and students.

Under the moderation of ITDO Manager Kevin, Yuan, ten team representatives presented their work achievements from the first half of the year and future plans. The presentations covered system development, requirements and data, architecture and operations, administration and support, IT equipment, network management, security and intelligent computing, and new media promotion, showcasing the team's technical depth and innovative execution.

Subsequently, Manager Kevin, Yuan delivered a presentation titled "The TRUST Model and Career Development," discussing the four levels of cognition and emphasizing the importance of time, providing methodological guidance for the team's professional growth.

In her concluding remarks, ITDO Supervisor Xichen, Zhao fully affirmed the team's achievements in the first half of the year and stressed the importance of continuous learning: "The field of technology is ever-evolving. Only by persisting in learning can one 'become more valuable with age.'" She encouraged the team to maintain technical acuity and leverage professional skills and enthusiasm to support the university's digital and intelligent transformation.

This meeting, through its dual focus on reviewing achievements and conducting information security training, has charted the course for ITDO's work in the second half of the year. The team will continue to drive smart campus upgrades through innovation and solidify the foundation for the university's informatization development.
