To further advance the intelligent transformation of the campus and enhance work efficiency, the Information Technology Development Office (ITDO) successfully held the "WeMust Smart Campus Application Upgrade Seminar" on September 18, 2025, in room O503. The seminar was aimed at administrative staff across the university, with the goal of introducing the latest upgraded features of the WeMust system and providing live demonstrations. Vice President Kwong, Ying Wa attended the event and provided valuable guidance on the system’s optimization and application.

The seminar was hosted by Mr. Yuan Husheng, Head of ITDO, and presented by Mr. Yuan Anpeng, who provided a detailed introduction to the comprehensive upgrades of the WeMust system across four core modules: Home, To-Do, Info, and Memo.

Home: The newly designed interface is more intuitive and user-friendly, integrating features such as to-do items, the Muster AI assistant, news browsing, schedule management, and quick applications. It supports a customizable sidebar for one-click access to frequently used services, significantly improving operational efficiency.

To-Do: The system offers a centralized to-do list, enabling one-click approval from both the Home and To-Do modules. It supports keyword search, historical record queries, and subscription-based management, with seamless synchronization between PC and mobile app, allowing staff to handle tasks anytime, anywhere.

Info: The News page features clear categorization and enhanced visual highlights. It supports full-text search, filtering by time and department, and displays view counts and likes, helping users quickly stay updated on trending topics.

Memo: A new visual design improves status visibility, with categorized Un-replied/Unread items, a new "Remind" feature, one-click read all, bookmarking, and multi-dimensional search, greatly enhancing the efficiency and transparency of document processing.

During the seminar, the ITDO team conducted live demonstrations, showcasing the smooth operation of the WeMust system in practical applications and the intelligent services of Muster, which received positive feedback from attendees.

Vice President Kwong, Ying Wa provided important directives following the presentation, emphasizing that the development of a smart campus requires collective effort from all staff. He encouraged all departments to actively adopt new technologies and provide timely feedback to improve management and service quality.

Moving forward, ITDO will continue to optimize the WeMust system, promote the intelligent development of the campus, and provide higher-quality and more efficient smart services for all students and staff.
