From Solid Support to Innovative Leadership: Empowering a New Chapter of the Smart Campus
On January 15, 2026, the Information Technology Development Office (hereinafter referred to as ITDO) of Macau University of Science and Technology successfully convened its 2025 Annual Work Summary Meeting and Information Security Awareness Training Session. The meeting aimed to comprehensively review and summarize the work achievements and experiences of 2025, plan future development directions, and further strengthen the team's awareness and capabilities in information security protection.

At the beginning of the meeting, Vice President of MUST, Tong Ka Lok, representing the University, highly commended the ITDO team for their work effectiveness in 2025. He provided in-depth comments from three dimensions: stability, sustainability, and innovation. Vice President Tang pointed out that in the era where artificial intelligence is deeply integrated into life and work, as the intelligent hub of the University, ITDO has played a crucial role as the "heart-brain nexus," consistently maintaining stable and reliable services. Looking ahead, he emphasized the need for the team to further enhance innovation capabilities, making technological achievements more user-centric and perceptible. He encouraged all members to continue learning, persist in solving problems from the user's perspective, while placing high importance on the challenges brought by technology, continuously improving security awareness, and refining emergency plans. Vice President Tang also conveyed President Jian-Kang Zhu's expectations and recognition for ITDO, stating that ITDO is the "hard fist" enhancing the University's core competitiveness and the "main force" on the future development journey. He hopes all members will work together to continue advancing the construction of the smart campus.
